Genefill brand is part of the portfolio of dermal fillers belonging to BioScience GmbH, a German manufacturer designing and producing medical devices based on hyaluronic acid since 2001.

Advanced Thixotropic Technology

The core of Genefill is defined by the Advanced Thixotropic Technology (ATT) which determines how gel molecules behave during and after injection to ensure the most desirable qualities of a hyaluronic acid dermal filler: a smooth application and elevated stability.
Thanks to a special manufacturing process, thixotropic molecules in Genefill gel have the ability to become less viscous under the injecting pressure. For that reason, Genefill can be injected with reduced force and thinner needles, minimizing the pain level and giving the patient an optimal treatment comfort.

Dextranomer

The role of dextranomer, the key ingredient of Genefill DX, is to stimulate collagen production and further create a scaffolding effect for its growth. Positively charged dextran molecules attract naturally occurring collagen beads and allow them to bind together to form new tissue, stimulating the regeneration of the dermis at the same time. The use of dextranomer also ensures product’s stability and long-lasting effects, as the newly formed collagen stays at the injection site even after the hyaluronic acid has been absorbed.

In all of our dermal fillers we use SCHOTT TopPac® syringes with integrated Luer Lock, manufactured by SCHOTT Pharmaceutical Systems, the world’s leading supplier of primary packaging and specialized analytical lab services for the pharmaceutical industry.
